Evaluate new datasets for genuine, repeatable investment information. You will reject weak data quickly and build defensible research when a source survives quality, legality, and stability checks. You will work with a small team, own important decisions, and document your work so that other specialists can review it.
Responsibilities
- Assess provenance, coverage, revisions, latency, and licensing limits
- Design leakage-resistant tests and realistic availability timestamps
- Measure incremental value against existing information
- Maintain data-quality and vendor-monitoring controls
Required Qualifications
- Experience researching large, messy, time-indexed datasets
- Python, SQL, experimental design, and data lineage skills
- Sound judgment about privacy, licensing, and data leakage
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with financial markets, market data, or institutional trading systems.
- A record of clear written communication and careful review of high-impact work.
