About the Role

This opening gives the Las Vegas, NV hire responsibility for live cross-asset exposure, instrument-specific mechanics, funding, rolls, execution, and incident controls, with operating coverage focused on Pacific Time coverage of the U.S. close, continuous-market exceptions, and overnight preparation. You will connect research, engineering, trading, and risk without hiding uncertainty or operational tradeoffs.

Las Vegas Operating Focus

The Las Vegas opening emphasizes disciplined shift boundaries, venue awareness, and complete incident transfer. The Pacific schedule includes the cash close and, for continuous markets, the start of another operating period rather than a full stop. This opening defines shift boundaries for positions, venues, data, and open incidents. Weekend or overnight coverage must use the same evidence and escalation standards as normal weekday work. For this role, that means direct ownership of cross-asset exposure, funding and roll events, execution quality, and venue-specific risk during Pacific Time coverage of the U.S. close, continuous-market exceptions, and overnight preparation.

First Review Cycle

The Las Vegas, NV opening begins with an end-to-end review of cross-asset exposure, funding and roll events, execution quality, and venue-specific risk during Pacific Time coverage of the U.S. close, continuous-market exceptions, and overnight preparation. The review will keep research observations separate from live production decisions. Two assigned tasks anchor the evidence: Manage live exposures and instrument-specific risk limits; and Review execution quality, funding, rolls, and calendar effects. The Las Vegas opening emphasizes disciplined shift boundaries, venue awareness, and complete incident transfer. The record must show how each result affected the review. Before the review closes, you will state what changed, what did not change, and what needs more evidence. A peer must be able to follow the result back to live cross-asset exposure, instrument-specific mechanics, funding, rolls, execution, and incident controls.
