Frequently Asked Questions

What is Price Velocity?

Price Velocity is a proprietary indicator calculated in real time by Anemoi’s algorithm. It helps users review the strength and character of directional price movement. It does not predict or guarantee a future result.

How do you use Price Velocity?

Use Price Velocity with Trigger Levels to review changes in directional participation on the selected timeframe. It can add context before scheduled events or during fast markets, but the user remains responsible for risk and execution.

What are Trigger Levels?

Trigger Levels are proprietary price levels calculated by Anemoi’s algorithm from price data across multiple timeframes. AP Terminal displays them as price bands that help users locate decision areas.

How do you use Trigger Levels?

Use Trigger Levels to review the relationship between price and the selected timeframe’s decision areas. Their stacked position can add trend context, but it does not guarantee direction or outcome.

What are Crosses?

Crosses occur when price or one Trigger Level moves above or below another Trigger Level. They provide supporting confirmation and context for Trigger Levels and Price Velocity.

How do you use Crosses?

Use Crosses as supporting confirmation and context when you review Trigger Levels and Price Velocity. Crosses are not a separate source of edge, and AP Terminal does not automatically place a trade. The user controls each decision and order.
